Congressman Bob Gibbs to tour Zoar Levee with Leaders of Army Corp of Engineers
WASHINGTON D.C. -- U.S Congressman Bob Gibbs will be touring the Village of Zoar with senior leaders from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, which is tasked with repairing the levee.
“I am excited to show the Brigadier General Margaret Burcham, Colonel Bob Peterson, and many other leaders of the Army Corps of Engineers the Village of Zoar and the rich history it has to offer. I am confident that once they see the implications their decisions would have on the surrounding community firsthand, we will be able to come to the best possible conclusion for the town. This experience will help to show that not only is Zoar a historically unique community, but also a large player in tourism driven commerce in Ohio.”
