Congressman Bob Gibbs Opens New District Office In Canton, Ohio

November 14, 2013
Press Release

WASHINGTON, D.C.-- Congressman Bob Gibbs released the following statement regarding the opening of his new district office in Canton, Ohio.

“I am excited to announce the opening of another office for Ohio’s 7th district in Canton, Ohio. It is important to me that the constituents are able to have access to as many constituent services as possible and are able to connect with their elected official on a regular basis. This office will serve as another hub throughout the 7th District that constituents can use to voice their concerns.

“We have also brought on Sergeant Jason Wise, a Stark County native, to be our representative on the ground in Canton. Sergeant Wise was honorably discharged in October 2013 from the Army, with a job specialty of Cavalry Scout. In 2011, he spent a year serving in Iraq with the 1st Cavalry Division. He was born and raised in Stark County and graduated from Perry High School in 1997. We are grateful for his service to our country and we excited to have him on board.

"As Jason gets acclimated, he will be focusing on outreach to the community and spending the majority of his time traveling throughout Stark County meeting with various organizations, businesses, and constituents. At this time, I would ask anyone who would need to visit the Canton office to schedule an appointment. By scheduling an appointment we will be able to arrange a time that works best for you and Jason. We will be sure to meet with everyone that schedules an appointment in a timely fashion.  Our hope is that Jason will be able to proactively meet constituents in their communities, rather than make them travel to the Canton office.”
