Congressman Bob Gibbs to Host Jobs Fair in New Philadelphia
NEW PHILADELPHIA, OH - U.S. Congressman Bob Gibbs will host a job fair in conjunction with The Employment Source, Goodwill Industries and WJER Radio in New Philadelphia on April 11th. Area job seekers will be given the opportunity to meet face to face with local employers who are actively hiring.
"We all know the road back to employment is often long and hard. With unemployment being above 8 percent for 36 consecutive months, job creation is central to putting our economy back on track,” said Congressman Bob Gibbs. “This job fair is a perfect opportunity to help connect job-seekers with job providers while personalizing the job application process by letting people meet face-to-face with potential employers. I am pleased to partner with The Employment Source, Goodwill Industries and WJER Radio on this important event and look forward to helping Ohioans get back to work.”
