WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Bob Gibbs released the following statement in response to The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio’s announcement that it was awarded a $100,000 grant from the JPMorgan Chase Foundation. This money will support the formation of a regional effort to track vital education improvement measures within Appalachian Ohio.
In talking with county officials, we are expecting another 1-3 inches of snow and ice before tonight that would create significant problems for those attending Congressman Gibbs’ Town Hall in Dover. Therefore, we have decided to cancel tonight’s event but will work to reschedule for later this month. As soon as we do reschedule, we will let you know ASAP.

Washington, DC – U.S. Rep. Bob Gibbs (R-OH) has been selected to chair the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment in the U.S. House of Representatives. The announcement was made today by Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman John L. Mica (R-FL).
