The U.S. House of Representatives passed HR 872, the Reducing Regulatory Burdens Act of 2011 by a vote of 292-130. Congressman Gibbs introduced this legislation and received broad bipartisan support with over 30 Democratic co-sponsors and 57 Democrat "yea" votes.

Today, I voted to repeal the Democrats flawed healthcare plan because it does nothing to fix the problem of high cost healthcare in America. Instead, ObamaCare actually raises the costs to consumers by driving up premiums, adding over $700 billion to the deficit, and destroying 1.6 million American jobs.
