Rep Gibbs to Host Veterans Resource Fair November 22nd

ASHLAND, OHIO - The Office of Congressman Bob Gibbs will be hosting a Veteran Resource Fair in North Ridgeville on Friday November 22nd. All veterans are welcome to attend. The Resource Fair is an opportunity for local veterans to connect with a wide range of organizations and services they may be eligible for. Veterans can speak with officials from the Department of Veterans Affairs, get assistance from Ohio Means Jobs to start or continue their search for employment, obtain information on substance abuse or mental health care, and more.

Veterans Resource Fair Organized by Congressman Bob Gibbs’ Office

Additionally, Second Harvest Foodbank will have bags of canned and dry goods, and Lorain County Community Action Agency has donated clothing items for those attending.

“One of the greatest aspects of representing the Seventh Congressional District is meeting so many veterans who faithfully served our nation,” said Congressman Gibbs. “It is a tremendous honor when my office can help a veteran having difficulty accessing medical care or benefits they earned. I have come to learn communication and coordination is key when working to help constituents. The resource fair brings together the organizations that serve the veteran community, making it a one-stop-shop opportunity. I encourage all veterans from the area who may need assistance from any of the organizations represented to attend the Veterans Resource Fair.”

Veterans who wish to attend are encouraged to bring a veteran ID or a copy of their DD214 form.
